Overwatch story mode

I just want to know why I can’t buy normal overwatch without paying for legendary edition when I don’t want it

If Overwatch 2 is anything like the PVE events in Overwatch 1, we are in trouble. Im so scared OW2 is gonna feel like those. I just wanted to get the achievement and never touch the modes again. Kill waves of easy to kill bots is not fun at all. Zombies in COD was never fun to me either. Left for dead, never fun. There is no skill to any of it. It's just "the casual gamer" that enjoys those kind of game modes. I have so many doubts for this game, they are working so hard and putting so much time and effort into developing this and I just feel like it's gonna be an absolute train wreck of boredom. Praying it's not.

if they add custom game modes to this i can really imagine people making a reinheart race where your charge is infinite and you just race to a finish line

Can we have tanks feel like tanks again and not like high health damage dealers/assassins plz?

Overwatch provided some of the most fun I had had in a long time man. Played the mess out of that game.

I’m totally digging McCree’s new default beard. Been wanting it since the cinematic with Ashe came out. Backtracking to the in-game chinstrap was weird after that. McCree’s never looked cooler imo :)

This all looks wonderful and I'm really excited for OW2, but adding camera shake to soldier is an awful idea. Overwatch is a competitive game and the recoil needs to come from the weapon, not the entire screen shaking for cinematic effect. Professionals turn off camera shake in almost every single esports game I can think of, from Rocket League to COD, and you want to force an exaggerated version of it as the new standard to make it more intense? Poor planning especially when OW2 is Blizzard's last chance to get OW's esports scene really on the map.

Nobody cares about graphics and sound. Let's focus on gameplay mechanics and physics, higher ceiling for aim. I don't want to be going into a game where I feel everyone is hitting every shot

To be honest, love everything but the passive and major changes for overwatch characters. I love the way they are now, I don’t know about you guys. I feel like they leave them alone for the ogs of the game! I am happy that they adding stuff that people have been wanting for so long. But keep the pvp the same. Worst thing is, the overwatch team is adding some stuff back that people wanted removed for good. Love the maps and everything but for the game modes leave them, some people might love 2cp, so why not keep it.

I'd love to see the ability to choose your game mode and not being at the mercy of whatever the game decides for you to play.

Not gonna lie, I miss playing Overwatch to some degree. I lost all interest in the PvP aspect though, so Overwatch 2's PvE aspects are super exciting to me. I can't wait to jump back in.

We need a campaign where the game makes you play as different heroes each mission based on which characters are present in the story

Was it just me or did everyone talking about the game sound forced to say something positive in every sentence? I can't think of another developer video where the most minor changes were described with such unconvincing excitement. Some of the cuts between the developers talking and the gameplay that accompanied them were comedic by contrast. People rightly made fun of Call of Duty for bragging about "fish AI" in 2013, but this presentation felt like 30 minutes of the same thing.
